This set of tools was known as the "A" set and contains various tools used in the maint of the Madsen LMG. These tools would work on almost any year or caliber Madsen, except as noted below. The black tool with the thumb screw is used to disassembly and aid in the assembly of the very strong springs used to power the two levers in the trigger/butt stock unit. The two springs are spares for these two levers. The wires are used to "safety" various components. The broken shell extractor is the same as issued with the Lewis gun by the British and Belgians and is good for all calibers except maybe the 6.5mm caliber Madsens. The hammer/screwdriver is a really well thought out tool and was not copied for other guns. The two pin punches aid in working on the gun. Conditon of the leather on these is not too bad, but you will find loose stiches or slight tears in the leather or maybe a missing button.
