This is an original US GI headspace gage for checking all Cal..22s used by the military, obviously it can be also used on non-military cal..22 rifles and handguns. This is the field reject gage, it is Federal part number 5220-00-731-9965, 4933-00-731-9965 and several others depending upon time frame. The rim on this is 0.048" and is the largest of the Cal..22 gages, the others being 0.043" and 0.046", for the go and no-go.
The drawing number for all three is 6045169 as all three are on the same drawing, but the part numbers are different, 7319960 for go and 7319963 for no-go.
