This is a really nice condition Madsen LMG parts set in 7mm Mauser. This is a pre-WWII issue gun and has the early style top cover release, later style 3-position fire control lever (safe, unload and fire), long bipod legs, later large size bolt axis pin. The butt stock attaches with the smaller style screw with lock nut. The barrel jacket, receiver and butt stock group are serial number 9 but the barrel is serial number 10-2, the spare barrel for gun number 10, would seem they have been together a long time. No contract markings or crest on side of receiver, a so called commercial sale gun, small country. Barrel length is the longer 23 inch style, and bore is good. No magazine to make shipping easier. All small parts included.
