This set of original Lithgow "in process" receivers is fairly rare. There is a basic forging then ten additional examples of the complete process of making the L1A1 receiver as done at Lithgow. There is one additional example which was a "setting" receiver used to set and check several operations and had a unique rotating locking lug area to proof some of the important steps in this operation. There was only one of these in use at the factory and this is it. Ten are stored in an actual receiver tray used at Lithgow. Because I'm not sure what someone at ATF would classifiy as a 80% receiver will need a license on this item.
