This is the shorter handguard for the No 1 series and fits behind the rear sight. The "little legs" are often found broken off on rifles. When they start to crack it was better to cut the legs off to prevent further cracking. These are really nice condition and will make your rifle look better and bring it back to that original look. We also have original spring clips for these if you need to make something special.
