This is an example of a M1 Carbine receiver made in China during the Korean War. They had captured a fairly large number of carbines and spare parts. Many captured carbines had damaged receivers so they just started making them. They also made some trigger housings and a few other small parts. The program was stopped by arounf 1953-54. These are not real common in this country as few were knowingly exported.
