This is the Springfield and Browning Automatic rilfe barracks cleaning rod Model of 1916 with the football style handle. This style handle is shown in the Brophy book. The rods are steel construction with brass plating/coating. Overall length is just over 36 inches. These rods are probably pre or early WWII production. The brass has partially lifted from the jag end as shown in the photo. Have to be shipped in a mailing tube so shipping will run about $7.00. Other rods can usually be added to the tube and some small items but not much else.
